Compare a simpler process, existing tools and new technology where relevant. Define the output, responsibilities, limits, fee, acceptance criteria and review date before starting.

Coordinate the agreed work with the people responsible. Test a first version, surface blockers and bring in qualified specialists where required.

Review what changed
Compare the result with the baseline. Record what worked, what remains unresolved and whether further work is justified.
